North Carolina Port Potential
[ November 12, 2015 // Gary G Burrows ]Adam Wasserman Managing Partner at Global Logistics Development Partners LLC (GLDPartners) recently commented that the potential of the North Carolina State Ports Authority has been debated and well-overhyped in the past, but comments: “The reality is that over the next few decades, the NC transport and economic development opportunity is actually quite robust.”
“Good overall investment attraction competitive metrics, good overland transport infrastructure, very competitive costs, good schools, available land – combined with logistics connectivity to a healthy and growing South/Mid Atlantic consumption and production base and increasing important East Coast-Asia maritime lanes – all combine to make for a great port growth and regional economic development story,” he said in a post on LinkedIn.
