Port of Virginia Prepares for Arrival of 13,000-TEU COSCO Development

The Port of Virginia will be welcoming the COSCO Development, the biggest container vessel to ever call the U.S. East Coast on May 8.

The arrival of this vessel herald’s the start of the “big ship era” for the Virginia as others like it will be making regular visits to the port. This ship will be making its first East Coast stop at Virginia International Gateway (VIG) and the port will be celebrating this historic event.
