Big expansion for Kennesaw cold storage
[ July 11, 2017 // Gary G Burrows ]A M King, a fast-growing design-build company, said it has begun renovating and expanding a distribution center in Kennesaw, Ga., owned by Atlanta Bonded Warehouse Corp. The project will provide additional food-grade warehouse space to help ABW meet the increasing storage demands of current and new clients requiring temperature-controlled storage and handling services.
A M King will design and construct a new, 162,366-square-foot space to create room for ABW clients’ confectionary and other food products, including a complet re-roof of the existing warehouse. The project also includes 7.45 acres of site improvements such as 120,000 square feet of new exterior concrete pavement, development of a detention pond, and upgrade of campus utilities.
