Truckstop.com aims to change market with free loading tracking

[ October 11, 2017   //   ]

True to its history as an industry innovator, Truckstop.com is now offering its Load Tracking solution free with premium service offerings. This game-changing decision addresses a universal industry pain point: supply chain visibility at a price carriers, brokers and shippers alike can afford.
“Truckstop.com launched the first internet load board, revolutionized the way brokers pay carriers, and introduced the industry’s first spot market rate forecasting tool,” said Bill Vitti, Truckstop.com’s Chief Commercial Officer. “With the increased demand for instantaneous freight visibility, we are, once again, leading the industry by offering our Load Tracking solution for free.”
According to Truckstop.com’s Thayne Boren, General Manager of Mobile, “Our research shows that 80% of shippers are requiring some degree of load visibility on all of their shipments. What better way to help brokers know where the load is while keeping in mind the productivity needs of the driver, than through Load Tracking?”
Truckstop.com’s Load Tracking solution offers more than just load tracking, however. The product is designed to solve major industry pain points through digital document storage and transfer, check call automation, and GPS technology that can pinpoint a drivers’ location within a one-mile radius.
Brokers and shippers currently pay between $1.00 and $14.00 per load with other load tracking solutions, depending on the tracking frequency. “Currently, many businesses are not using automated load tracking solutions, and those that do are paying a premium,” said Vitti. “There’s not a low-cost solution currently available to the entire logistics community, yet we consistently hear that visibility is the number one industry pain point. Truckstop.com is leveling the playing field and making load tracking possible for everyone.”
Truckstop.com will offer free Load Tracking with any of its Truckstop Pro, LoadPay and Rate Analysis service offerings, or Rate API subscriptions.
