Coyote Logistics, KeepTruckin Engage in Strategic Alliance
[ February 13, 2018 // Gary G Burrows ]Coyote Logistics, a UPS Company and leading third-party logistics service provider, announced a strategic alliance with KeepTruckin, a leading provider of electronic logging device (ELD) solutions. Together with KeepTruckin, Coyote can simultaneously promote ELD compliance while offering an affordable, reliable solution to the over 40,000 carriers in the Coyote network.
The ELD Mandate, which went into effect on December 18th, 2017, requires drivers to record their hours of service with an ELD, rendering paper log books—the preferred method of many carriers—obsolete. For some carriers, the cost of ELD implementation has proven financially burdensome. In an effort to alleviate some of the cost and simplify compliance, Coyote sought to build a relationship with an ELD provider that could offer its carrier network a leading solution at an affordable price. “Some carriers have had apprehension regarding ELD implementation,” said Coyote’s President, Jonathan Sisler. “At Coyote, we are always looking for ways to use our scale and density to facilitate carriers running successful businesses. We are also deeply committed carrier compliance. Creating a strategic alliance with a premier ELD provider was a great way to support both initiatives.”
After extensive research, Coyote decided on KeepTruckin, one of the most user-friendly providers (as evidenced by its Google Play and App Store ratings) in the market. “We felt that KeepTruckin has the best product for the carriers in our rapidly growing network.” said Sisler. Over 40,000 carriers and 500,000 drivers trust KeepTruckin’s ‘plug-and-play’ ELD solution. It’s simple to install, easy to operate, FMCSA compliant, and affordable. Through Coyote’s discount, carriers can access an industry leading solution for as low as $16.00 a month (per vehicle). KeepTruckin also backs its technology with 24/7 support to assist with any questions.
Shoaib Makani, Chief Executive Officer of KeepTruckin, commented, “We are excited to work with Coyote Logistics to bring the #1 rated ELD to their carriers. The combination of our services can fundamentally improve the safety and efficiency of the trucking industry. We look forward to building on this alliance into the future to deliver even more value to carriers.” KeepTruckin’s Strategic Partner Manager Greg Glenn added, “Building strategic relationships has been a cornerstone of our success. Working with Coyote will further promote our growth and develop our reach into the trucking community.”
