WFS grows client portfolio in Scandinavia with three new contracts
[ June 10, 2018 // Gary G Burrows ]Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) is continuing to grow its client portfolio in Scandinavia after being awarded three new airline cargo handling contracts in Denmark and Sweden.
In Copenhagen, WFS is now handling Ukraine International Airlines’ 10 Boeing 737 flights a week connecting the Danish capital with Kiev. WFS now provides cargo handling services to 25 online airlines in Copenhagen and ensures the highest levels of safety, security and service for some 110,000 tonnes per annum.
In Arlanda, Sweden, China Eastern has chosen WFS to handle cargo carried onboard its seasonal A330-200 service to Shanghai, which is operating four times a week until 24 October. This is WFS’ second new contract in Sweden in a matter of weeks. Ukraine International Airlines’ 12 Arlanda-Kiev flights per week will also be handled in the WFS cargo terminal with effect from August 1.
