CMA CGM Sets US Southeast Port Charges

French shipping line and logistics service provider CMA CGM said it is implementing local port charges for imports and exports at U.S. East and Gulf coasts.
Effective Oct. 11, and until further notice, the local charge at origin for dry cargo and tanks will be US$800 per 20-footer, US$1,000 per 40-footer and US$1,266 per 45-footer. For refrigerated and special equipment, inclusive of out-of-gauge cargoes, will be US$1,000 per 20-footer, and US$1,500 per 40-footer.
The local port charge at destination will be US$1,500 per TEU.
