Davies Turner Expands Strategic Accounts Team

[ January 21, 2025   //   ]

Independent UK freight forwarding Davies Turner has appointed Guillaume Bouyer as head of strategic accounts – Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia, within its ocean freight forwarding department.
Bouyer joins a team of three other heads of trade, each focused on different regions Davies Turner serves through its international ocean freight operations, which includes full-containerload and less-than-containerload imports and exports.
The other three trade regions are Africa and the Americas; Asia LCL imports and China rail; and East Asia, all reporting to Tony Cole, ocean freight director. The regions collectively have nearly 100 years of experience in the ocean freight environment, mostly with Davies Turner.
Bouyer joined Davies Turner in 2010 on its graduate recruitment program and has recorded operational and commercial successes during his 14 years at the company.
“Guillaume’s appointment is part of an ongoing process at every level of the Davies Turner organization to build our winning teams and safeguard the future,” said Tony Cole, ocean director. “His appointment strengthens the long-serving senior management team within our ocean freight department, which has a strong sales and operational record in ocean freight forwarding and international logistics.”
