CargoLogicAir Signs B747-400F maintenance contract with Volga-Dnepr Gulf
[ August 25, 2016 // Gary G Burrows ]CargoLogicAir has signed an agreement with Volga-Dnepr Gulf to perform C-check maintenance on its Boeing 747-400 freighter.
The London Stansted-based cargo airline, a partner of Volga-Dnepr Group, has been performing charter services and servicing an ACMI contract since being awarded its Air Operator Certificate by the UK Civil Aviation Authority at the start of 2016. The scope of works agreed with Volga-Dnepr Gulf includes airworthiness directive/service bulletin (AD/SB) accomplishment, modifications and Out-of-Phase (OOP) tasks.
CargoLogicAir has recently taken delivery of its first Boeing 747-8 Freighter and has stated its intention to build a fleet of five 747-8F aircraft within five years as it aims to become a leading all-cargo airline in the European market.
