YRC Freight announces 4.9% general rate increase

Effective September 5, 2016, YRC Freight will implement a 4.9% general base rate increase for all non-contractual shipments in the United States and cross-border Canada. Domestic Canada rates will not be adjusted at this time. The general rate increase is being made to offset industry-specific cost pressures such as driver shortages.
