CEVA appoints Willie Parra Fonseca as Costa Rica Country Manager
[ August 24, 2016 // Gary G Burrows ]CEVA Logistics has appointed Willie Parra Fonseca as Country Manager Costa Rica. He will be based at the company’s San José office reporting to Mike Wilson, Senior Vice President and head of the Central America cluster.
Parra has an extensive track record in both project management and the design and implementation of distribution centers across Latin America. Over the last eight years in he has worked with industry leaders in retail, fast-moving consumer goods, technology, life science and the healthcare sectors and will use these skills to further develop the CEVA product portfolio in Costa Rica.
“Willie brings a broad range of experience to his new role. He is an entrepreneur at heart and his end-to-end supply chain knowledge will enable him to deliver a clear vision and strategy to innovate and extend the wide range of services we offer to our customers ,” says Mike Wilson.
Parra’s knowledge and understanding of both the forwarding and shipper sides of the business will prove invaluable in his new role. “Being able to quickly assess a situation and then implement a strategy to deliver maximum return for the business and satisfaction to our customers are my key goals”, states Parra.
