Container Lines Unveil Transatlantic Loops
[ December 19, 2024 // Gary G Burrows ]Singapore-based carrier Ocean Network Express, or ONE, will join Ocean Alliance members CMA CGM, COSCO Shipping Lines, Oriental Overseas Container Line and Evergreen Line in three North Europe Transatlantic services, effective from February 2025.
“Combining our collective fleet deployment and market experience to provide a comprehensive and reliable end-to-end customer service offering across all the key TA [transatlantic] market sectors,” said Jeremy Nixon, CEO of ONE.
The three services between North Europe and North America East Coast/Gulf provides coverage of 14 direct ports through each product. The port rotations for the new services are:
AT1 (Transatlantic 1) – Southampton, Antwerp, Rotterdam, Bremerhaven, Le Havre, New York, Norfolk, Baltimore and Southampton.
AT2 (Transatlantic 2) – Le Havre, Rotterdam, Antwerp, Bremerhaven, Charleston, Savannah and Le Havre.
AT3 (Transatlantic 3) – Southampton, Rotterdam, Antwerp, Bremerhaven, Veracruz, Altamira, Houston, New Orleans and Southampton.
Additionally, ONE will strengthen the North Europe-U.S. West Coast transatlantic service with a new rotation, effective from February 2025. The port rotation of the AL5 (Transatlantic 5) will be Southampton, Le Havre, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Antwerp, Miami (new), Cartagena, Rodman, Los Angeles, Oakland, Rodman, Caucedo and Southampton.

Singapore-based ONE operates a fleet of more than 240 vessels with a capacity topping 1.9 million TEUs.
