The 35,000 square-meters temperature-controlled warehouse, with a 3,500 square-meters mezzanine area for value-added services, is the largest investment in the history of DB Schenker Middle East & Africa.
Bollore Logistics USA inaugurated its new Foreign Trade Zone facility in Miami on March 29.
The new site of more than 200,000 sq. ft. consolidates freight forwarding and contract logistics activities previously housed at two different locations and will support operational synergies and cargo turnaround time for customers with time-critical logistics requirements.
Werner Enterprises has announced the grand opening of its new Joliet, Illinois,
terminal, replacing its Channahon, Illinois, drop yard. The 64,100-sq. ft. building will provide professional drivers with the latest amenities, including: driver simulators, computer based training (CBT), laundry facilities, fitness rooms, showers, a quiet lounge, phone charging stations, complimentary ice, an arcade, a dog run, an ATM and a company store. The facility also includes 26 paved acres of parking and a Maintenance Shop.
CEVA Logistics has renewed its contract with ITP Aero for an additional five year period. ITP Aero is a Rolls Royce Group company and the ninth largest aircraft engine and components company in the world. It also provides engineering, research and development, manufacture, assembly and testing of aeronautical engines and gas turbines.
