Henry Gorski to Lead Procurement and Global Ocean Coverage at enVista
[ March 28, 2017 // Gary G Burrows ]enVista, a leading global supply chain consulting and IT services firm, announces today that Henry Gorski has joined the enVista Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) team as ocean category manager. In this role, Gorski will be responsible for navigating enVista’s procurement goals on a global level with an emphasis on ocean.
Prior to joining enVista, Gorski spent the last 30 years working in international supply chain management for companies including Evergreen Marine Corporation, Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL Logistics) and Mediterranean Shipping Company.
Throughout his supply chain career, Gorski has been responsible for the start-up of Evergreen’s Round the World container service in the United Kingdom, played a major role in the establishment of EVA Airways, was fundamental in the OOCL creation of its auto rating system for worldwide container movements, and was responsible for many of OOCL’s Global Clients (Diageo, Philip Morris, Nestle and Caterpillar). Lastly, he has managed the tender/procurement activities for all regional RFQs as they related to inbound/outbound activity and intraregional delivery at Mediterranean Shipping Company. Gorski is bilingual in English and French, bringing a wealth of multimodal purchasing and operation experience, proven on a global platform.
