Michelin Building New 3.3M Sq.-Ft DC Complex in SC
[ October 12, 2016 // Gary G Burrows ]Michelin North America has announced plans to break ground later this year on a new $270 million, 3.3 million-square-foot distribution center complex in Spartanburg County. The new DC will handle tires sold under the Michelin, Uniroyal, and BFGoodrich brand names and is strategically located for connectivity to the Port of Charleston and key inland markets. The site is easily accessible from I-85, I-385, I-26, and the South Carolina Ports Authority’s Inland Port Greer. Phase 1 is expected to open in late 2017.
