Pilot acquires DSI Logistics

Pilot Freight Services, a worldwide transportation and logistics services provider backed by ATL Partners and British Columbia Investment Corporation (BCI), has acquired DSI Logistics, a Brea, California-based provider of last-mile home delivery and installation for heavy and hard to handle goods. The transaction closed on March 31, 2021.

The strategic purchase of DSI will further expand Pilot Last Mile Home, the company’s national final mile home delivery solution. This acquisition positions Pilot as the second-largest last-mile delivery provider for big and bulky goods in the United States and comes on the heels of the company’s recent acquisition of three franchise locations in Memphis, St. Louis and Kansas City.
