RoadOne Strengthens National Leadership Team

RoadOne IntermodaLogistics said April 8 it has made strategic hires in its senior leadership team, which it said is positioning itself for strategic growth.

The intermodal logistics provider made hires across key areas including finance, operations, warehousing, pricing, sales and marketing, to position itself for significant growth.

The additions are aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, strengthening client relationships and driving innovation within the organization, navigating current challenges and setting the foundation for long-term success and growth, the company said in a release.

“This investment in leadership, coupled with our strategic expansion initiatives, will enable us to better meet the needs of our clients and capitalize on new growth opportunities in the market,” said Ken Kellaway, co-founder, president and CEO of RoadOne.

New RoadOne senior team members are:

Sarah Sessa-McCaughey, senior vice president of finance since February. She spent more than 15 years in finance senior leadership positions, including as a segment CFO for a storage service company.

Dave Hensal, senior vice president of RoadOne LogisticsSystems, RoadOne’s agent division, since March. He spent more than 35 years in the logistics industry holding leadership roles in intermodal logistics and drayage. He served as president and CEO for 13 years with one of the largest U.S. drayage carriers.

Michael Bradbury, vice president, RoadOne LogisticSolutions, RoadOne’s brokerage division of RoadOne, leading the division’s operations teams as well as overseeing the brokerage sales team. He spent 11 years with a leading brokerage, working his way up in sales and operations, ultimately overseeing the brokerage operations.

• Gary Richardson, vice president of warehouse operations in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions for RoadOne’s asset-based warehouse footprint. He spent more than 20 years with a leading steamship line, and the last 10 years he was in senior leadership covering warehousing and distribution and transportation for the East Coast, Midwest and Gulf, and has since held senior leadership roles for global and domestic, supply chain and logistics organizations.

* Keefe Murtaugh, vice president of business development, who will utilize his extensive expertise in logistics, technology, and business relationships. He began his carrier in the U.S. Marine Corps and has more than 15 years of experience in logistics in various commercial roles for leading platforms and technology firms.

• Alexander Joyce, vice president of strategic growth. She joined RoadOne September 2020, but was most recently promoted , where she oversees  pricing, marketing and acquisition efforts. Prior to RoadOne, he spent more than two years working in pricing and financial analysis for a leading U.S. office product and retail distribution company.

• Kaytie Kellaway, social media and marketing manager since January. She has more than 10 years of experience in front of and behind the camera in film and advertisement production and has also created branding for several startup companies.
