Ryder Earns Highest Supplier Rating from John Deere

Ryder Systems, Inc., a leader in commercial fleet management, dedicated transportation and supply chain solutions, has earned recognition as a Partner-level supplier for 2015 in John Deere’s Achieving Excellence Program.

The Partner-level status is Deere & Company’s highest supplier rating. Ryder was selected for the honor in recognition of its dedication to providing products and service of outstanding quality as well as its commitment to continuous improvement.

“Ryder is extremely proud of the collaborative relationship we have built with John Deere over the past 19 years, and honored to be recognized as a Partner-level supplier,” said Steve Sensing, President of Global Supply Chain Solutions, Ryder. “We continue to strive to provide them with the best in supply chain solutions and customer service so that they can better serve their customers and focus on their business.”
Ryder provides John Deere’s agricultural tractor manufacturing operations in Waterloo, Iowa, with supply chain solutions including distribution management and dedicated transportation.
Suppliers who participate in the John Deere Achieving Excellence Program are evaluated annually in several key performance categories, including quality, cost management, delivery, technical support and wavelength, which is a measure of responsiveness. John Deere Supply Management created the program in 1991 to provide a supplier evaluation and feedback process that promotes continuous improvement.
