WABCO Named ATA Corporate Partner

American Trucking Associations announced WABCO as an ATA Corporate Partner, in recognition of its long-term commitment to ATA and the trucking industry. Founded nearly 150 years ago, WABCO is a leading supplier of technologies that improve the safety and efficiency of commercial vehicles.

WABCO’s OnGuard is North America’s leading collision mitigation system, with more than 90,000 systems sold and over 32 billion miles now on the road. OnGuard detects moving, stopping or stationary vehicles ahead and alerts the driver of a possible rear-end collision with audible, visual and haptic warnings. Should the driver be unable to take preventative action, OnGuard automatically applies the brakes slowing down the vehicle or bringing it to a complete stop to mitigate or avoid a rear-end collision.

In addition, WABCO’s line of air disc brakes offers a number of advantages over traditional drum brakes, including better braking performance, lighter weight, fewer parts and shorter service intervals.
