Werner Enterprises Named a 2018 Top Green Provider

Werner Enterprises was named a 2018 Top Green Provider by Food Logistics Magazine for the sixth consecutive year.
The annual list recognizes companies whose products, services and exemplary environmental stewardship promote sustainability within the food and beverage industry.
“It is an honor to be recognized for our sustainability efforts for the sixth consecutive year,” said President and Chief Executive Officer Derek Leathers. “Our satellite communications, low viscosity lubricants, low rolling resistance tires, auto inflation systems and recycled fluids continue to improve our drivers’ efficiency while out on the road.”
Werner has made significant contributions toward a cleaner, more energy efficient environment by conserving more than 225 million gallons of fuel since 2007 and reducing its carbon footprint by more than 2.5 million tons.
